The Elkin Buckin' Elks volleyball team (Elkin, NC), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC)

The Huskies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Buckin' Elks encounter the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a Northwest 1A challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Elkin will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC).
