The Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) volleyball overcame the host Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Nash Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Knights in a The Big East 2A/3A outing on Thursday, September 8. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Northern Nash lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC)

The Bruins now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Goldsboro for a Neuse Six 2A outing on Tuesday, September 13. Beddingfield will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
