The Lapwai Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Highland Huskies to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a 1A White Pine game on Thursday, September 8. Lapwai will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kamiah (Kamiah, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
The Huskies (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Timberline (Weippe, ID). The Spartans enter the 1A White Pine game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Timberline dropped by Kendrick (Kendrick, ID), 3-0, in a league game.
