The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) and the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), saw Wheatland's volleyball squad beat Center by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Wheatland upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Pirates host Colfax (Colfax, CA) to play the Falcons in a bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Colfax lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Sutter (Sutter, CA)

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Twelve Bridges for a bout on Monday, September 11. Center will play a Raging Rhinos squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 4-3.
