The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) and the host Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), saw Pleasant Grove's volleyball squad beat Franklin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 1-6 on the year. The Eagles host St. Francis (Sacramento, CA) to play the Troubadours in a bout on Thursday, September 14. The Troubadours go into the bout with a record of 6-0.

The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to River City for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Franklin will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
