The McLean Highlanders topped the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls volleyball team by a score of 25-10 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Highlanders now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herndon for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. McLean will confront a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.
The Fighting Owls (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Yorktown gained a win over Langley (McLean, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
