The Spanaway Lake Sentinels smashed the visiting Mount Tahoma T-Birds soccer squad by a margin of 6-2 in Thursday's league match.
The Sentinels now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Graham-Kapowsin for a non-league match on Saturday, September 9.
With the loss, Mount Tahoma drops to 0-3 on the season. The T-birds host Lincoln (Tacoma, WA) to encounter the Abes in a 3A Pierce County contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Abes enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
