The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) and the host York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN), saw Smith County's soccer squad triumph over York Institute by a margin of 7-1.

The Owls now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cannon County for a A District 5 test on Tuesday, September 19.

With the loss, York Institute drops to 1-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to White County (Sparta, TN) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 11. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-5. White County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN)
