The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), saw Apex's volleyball squad beat Apex Friendship by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Apex upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Panther Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12.
