In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the West Brunswick Trojans.
The Screaming Eagle (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Laney achieved victory over South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans clash with the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 12. West Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Scorpions come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
