In Thursday's non-league contest, the Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the GV Christian Guardians (Henderson, NV) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Awaken Christian will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Guardians go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV).

With the loss, Lake Mead Academy moves to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles host Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
