The Garner Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Fuquay - Varina Bengals to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Garner will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-2.
The Bengals (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Middle Creek gained a win over Cary (Cary, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
