The Hermitage Panthers held off the visiting Godwin Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Allen for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Hermitage will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Deep Run held off James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
