The Lake Norman Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cox Mill for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Lake Norman will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.

The Ragin' Bulls (2-4) will now prepare for their game against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, South Iredell nipped West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
