The Hilltop Christian Chargers held off the visiting Wilson Christian Academy Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Chargers now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside Christian for a test on Monday, September 11. Hilltop Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
The Chargers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC). The Chargers enter the test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Wayne Country Day was nudged by Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
