The Midway Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Union Spartans to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Raiders now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Midway will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.

The Spartans (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Lakewood dropped by West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
