The North Wilkes Vikings topped the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. North Wilkes will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
The Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their test against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks enter the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, West Wilkes gained a win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
