In Thursday's league battle, the host Anthony Wayne Generals soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Northview Wildcats.
With the win, Anthony Wayne moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Generals host Jackson (Massillon, OH) to battle the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Jackson won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Perry (Massillon, OH)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) in a Northern Lakes- Large bout, on Tuesday, September 12. Northview will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH).
