The Depew Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Agra Bearcats to 7 in the Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Depew improves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Hornets host Oilton (Oilton, OK) to clash with the Panthers in a Class A game on Monday, September 11. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 11-18. Oilton lost 17-0 in their recent league game against Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK)

In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the Drumright Tornadoes (Drumright, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 8. Agra will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Tornadoes come into the game with a 14-7 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Davenport (Davenport, OK).
