Oklahoma High School Softball - Bixby bounces Jenks

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) and the visiting Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK), witnessed Bixby's softball squad tip Jenks by a count of 8-3.

The Spartans now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Perry for a non-league match on Friday, September 8. Bixby will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, Jenks moves to 5-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Coweta (Coweta, OK) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, September 8. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 11-14. Coweta lost 13-7 in their recent non-league match against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK)
