Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), 10-8 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Norcross for a 7A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 12.

With the loss, Peachtree Ridge falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Lions host North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a 7A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. North Gwinnett won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA)
