Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Meeker Bulldogs (Meeker, OK), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they host Drumright for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Okemah will battle a Tornadoes squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Agra (Agra, OK). The Tornadoes record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Meeker falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Wellston (Wellston, OK) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-9. Wellston lost 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK)
