Georgia High School Softball - New Manchester toppled by South Paulding

South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. South Paulding will battle a Grangers squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 8-5.

In their next game, the Jaguar play the Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) in a 6A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 12. New Manchester will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 17-0 league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA).
