Georgia High School Softball - Pickens holds off West Hall

Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilmer for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, September 12.

With the loss, West Hall falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to White County (Cleveland, GA) to battle the Warriors in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Monday, September 11. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. White County won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA)
