Louisiana High School Volleyball - Central Catholic edged by Assumption

The Assumption Mustangs held off the visiting Central Catholic Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan City for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Assumption will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Ascension Catholic held off Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
