The Atkins Camels volleyball team (Winston-Salem, NC), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC)

The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Storm come into the Mid-State 3A challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Southern Guilford defeated Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Camels encounter the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Atkins will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
