The Martin County topped the host Bertie Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gates County for a Four Rivers 1A test on Monday, September 11. Martin County will confront a Red Barons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 2-7.
The Falcons (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC). The Knights enter the Four Rivers 1A test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Riverside-Martin gained a win over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
