In Thursday's non-league contest, the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN) in a A District 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Bledsoe County will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Marion County (Jasper, TN).

With the loss, Grundy County moves to 4-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets host St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN) to battle the Mountain Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, September 11. The Mountain Lions go into the contest with a record of 0-5.
