In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Minutemen battle the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Lewis County will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).

With the loss, Braxton County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Eagles host Lewis County (Weston, WV) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 14. The Minutemen go into the contest with a record of 6-2.
