The Broadway Gobblers volleyball team (Broadway, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA)

The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Fort Defiance defeated Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gobblers encounter the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Broadway will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
