Nebraska High School Volleyball - Burwell tips Fullerton

September 7, 2023: Fullerton, NE 68638

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) and the host Fullerton Warriors (Fullerton, NE), saw Burwell's volleyball squad nip Fullerton by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Burwell upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Longhorns host Central Valley (Greeley, NE) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host St. Francis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Fullerton will play a Flyers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE). The Flyers record now stands at 4-3.
