The Sterling Silver Knights volleyball team (Somerdale, NJ), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ)

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Winslow Township (Atco, NJ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Winslow Township went down by Lenape (Medford, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Silver Knights encounter the Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Sterling will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ).
