The Jemison Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Central of Clay County Volunteers to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby County for a 5A Area 8 game on Tuesday, September 12. Jemison will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.
The Volunteers (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Winterboro (Alpine, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Winterboro gained a win over Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
