In Thursday's league battle, the host Platt RVT Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cheney RVT Beavers.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Stratford achieved victory over Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Beavers clash with the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT) in a Connecticut Technical battle, on Monday, September 11. Cheney RVT will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Mighty Tigers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT).
