With the win, Clarke Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Gladiators host Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to play the Bulldoggs in a 5A Area 8 bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldoggs go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Winder-Barrow won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)

The Rams now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Shoals for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Monsignor Donovan Catholic will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-17.
