In Thursday's non-league contest, the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the host Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the C-E Hawks face the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Colman-Egan will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Fighting Cougars go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Garretson (Garretson, SD).
