The Cottonwood Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Geneva County Bulldogs to 1 in the Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wicksburg for a 2A Area 2 game on Thursday, September 14. Cottonwood will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against New Brockton (New Brockton, AL). The Gamecocks enter the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, New Brockton was dropped by Long (Skipperville, AL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
