In Thursday's league battle, the host Danville Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Danville Admirals.

The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Burgin lost by Model (Richmond, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Admirals clash with the Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) in a District 45 battle, on Saturday, September 9. Danville will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY).
