The Diagonal Maroons volleyball team (Diagonal, IA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA)

The Saints (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons enter the Bluegrass challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Lamoni defeated Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroons meet the Essex Trojans (Essex, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Diagonal will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sidney (Sidney, IA).
