The East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) volleyball tipped the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, East Chambers upgrades its record to 17-7 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to face the Lumberjacks in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. The Lumberjacks go into the outing with a record of 6-9.
The Hawks now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Burkeville for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. Hardin-Jefferson will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
