The Flushing Raiders prevailed the host Kearsley Hornets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Raiders now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden for a Flint Metro test on Monday, September 11. Flushing will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Mt. Morris gained a win over Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
