The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lawrence County Wildcats (Lawrenceburg, TN) and the host Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN), saw Lawrence County's volleyball squad beat Franklin County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Creek Wood won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Dickson County (Dickson, TN)

The Rebels now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Coffee County Central for a AAA District 9 bout on Tuesday, September 12. Franklin County will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-10.
