The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) and the visiting Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS), saw South Pike's volleyball squad beat Franklin County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, South Pike upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Salem (Tylertown, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Salem won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Lumberton (Lumberton, MS)

The Bulldogs now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pisgah for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Franklin County will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 5-6.
