The Lakeside Eagles volleyball team (Nine Mile Falls, WA), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA)

The Scotties (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA). The Cardinals enter the 1A Northeast challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Medical Lake went down by Colville (Colville, WA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the East Valley Knights (Spokane, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Lakeside will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID).
