The Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) volleyball overcame the host Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Western Albemarle betters its record to 4-2 on the year. The Warriors host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to face the Lions in a Jefferson outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Louisa County won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to William Monroe for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Goochland will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
