The Hampton Crabbers volleyball team (Hampton, VA), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA)

The Hurricanes (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Bruins come into the Peninsula challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Bethel achieved victory over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA), 3-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Hampton drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Crabbers travel to Menchville (Newport News, VA) to clash with the Monarchs in a Peninsula match on Tuesday, September 12. The Monarchs come into the match with a record of 4-2. Menchville lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Woodside (Newport News, VA)
