With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Chieftains travel to McAlester (McAlester, OK) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

The now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Marshall for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Harding Fine Arts will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Capitol Hill (Oklahoma City, OK). The Bears record now stands at 6-9.
