The Harlan County Black Bears topped the host Middlesboro Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Black Bears now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rye Cove for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Harlan County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
The Yellowjackets (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Pineville gained a win over Harlan (Harlan, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
