The West Jones Mustangs topped the host Hattiesburg Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumrall for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. West Jones will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-7.

The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their test against East Marion (Columbia, MS). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, East Marion gained a win over Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-1, in a league test.
