The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) and the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), saw Hersey's volleyball squad beat Schaumburg by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Hersey upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Huskies host Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to play the Bison in a Mid-Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 8-6.

The Saxons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hoffman Estates for a Mid-Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 12. Schaumburg will play a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 11-4.
